The American Bar Association’s Derivatives and Futures Law Committee Winter meeting features a “Fireside Chat with Former CFTC Commissioners” on January 26 at 3:30pm ET.
Former CFTC Commissioners will join Ken Raisler for a fireside chat, in which they will:
- Reminisce on the CFTC’s past, assess the present landscape, and consider the future
- Reflect on the CFTC’s achievements and on-going challenges
- Discuss how to decide which agencies are responsible for oversight of the cash and derivatives markets, and the role of the CFTC, other agencies, and Congress in cryptocurrency and stablecoins
