Adam Glazer
Director
Mr. Glazer brings more than twenty years of policy, legal, and compliance experience with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to his work at Patomak. His work focuses on providing clients with regulatory, strategy, and compliance solutions.
Prior to joining Patomak, he served in a number of roles at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. For the last two years at the SEC, he worked as an attorney examiner in the SEC’s Division of Examinations focusing on examinations of investment advisers. Earlier in his career at the SEC, he served as a Senior Advisor to the Director in the Division of Investment Management where he advised the Director on issues related to registered investment companies and investment advisers.
Before serving as a Senior Adviser to the Director of Investment Management, Mr. Glazer was counsel to SEC Commissioners Hester M. Peirce and Michael S. Piwowar advising them on matters relating to registered investment companies and investment advisers. He joined the agency in 2000 as an attorney in the Division of Investment Management, where he focused on mutual fund rulemaking.
Mr. Glazer received his law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law where he was Order of the Coif. He received his undergraduate degree with the highest honors from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
