Patomak Global Partners, LLC is a leading financial sector consulting firm that applies the insights of senior-level industry experts to advise clients on complex and cutting-edge strategy and compliance and risk management challenges.
Patomak is looking for a financial services compliance professional at the Analyst level to work on strategy, regulatory, risk, and compliance issues confronting clients, particularly asset managers, banks, broker-dealers, cryptocurrency trading platforms, exchanges, and other financial services firms. Client engagements on which the Analyst is staffed will likely involve a range of banking, digital asset, derivatives, and investment products issues. In addition to their strategy and compliance work, the Analyst will play an integral role in supporting the success of Patomak by supporting a variety of strategic, business development, operational, and administrative projects. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience at a consulting firm, law firm, or fast-paced public policy organization.

Overview of Job Duties:
- Contribute to reviews of clients’ internal control effectiveness, governance frameworks, operations, and trade and communication surveillance systems.
- Provide project management support for engagements with asset managers, banks, broker-dealers, exchanges, fintechs, and other financial services firms located in the United States and abroad.
- Prepare written reports for clients on risk, strategy, and regulatory issues related to derivatives markets, digital assets, and/or other financial sector areas.
- Participate in projects to assess clients’ compliance programs against rules, regulations, and supervisory expectations.
- Assist with business development events as needed.
- Provide office administrative support as needed.
Skills and Desired Qualifications:
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and deliver a quality product.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- An interest in and basic understanding of the U.S. financial system. Familiarity with the U.S. financial regulatory process is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced individual and small team environment.
- Ability to establish, maintain, and grow effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented; proactive in one’s own education and career progression; shows initiative.

- Bachelor’s degree required, specifically in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
Salary Range:
$65,000-$95,000
Salary will be commensurate with experience, and employee will be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on individual performance and firm performance.
