We are seeking a Manager to join our growing Derivatives Practice. This role provides an opportunity to advise leading financial institutions, exchanges, clearing organizations, banks, fintechs, digital asset firms, and other market participants on regulatory implementation, registration, governance, compliance, and operational transformation initiatives across the capital markets.
The ideal candidate has experience advising CFTC-regulated entities, particularly Designated Contract Markets (DCMs) and Derivatives Clearing Organizations (DCOs), together with strong regulatory writing, documentation, project management, and client advisory skills.

Overview of Job Duties:
Regulatory Consulting & Client Advisory
- Advise clients on regulatory implementation, registration, and compliance matters involving Designated Contract Markets (DCMs), Derivatives Clearing Organizations (DCOs), Swap Dealers (SDs), Security-Based Swap Dealers (SBSDs), Futures Commission Merchants (FCMs), Introducing Brokers (IBs), exchanges, clearing organizations, banks, fintechs, and other market participants.
- Lead regulatory gap assessments, registration projects, compliance reviews, and operational transformation initiatives.
- Translate regulatory requirements into business, operational, governance, technology, and control documentation.
- Advise clients on governance, market oversight, supervisory frameworks, compliance programs, operational risk, financial resources, system safeguards, and applicable CFTC Core Principles.
- Assess clients’ compliance programs against regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations and provide recommendations for enhancement.
Documentation & Implementation
- Draft registration exhibits, Core Principle analyses, policies and procedures, governance documentation, operating procedures, implementation plans, and regulatory submissions.
- Prepare responses to CFTC and NFA requests for information (RFIs), examinations, and other regulatory inquiries.
- Develop business requirements, process flows, control frameworks, target operating models, and support implementation documentation.
- Draft client reports, presentations, and other regulatory deliverables.
Project Leadership
- Lead client workshops, coordinate workstreams, manage project plans, milestones, and deliverables.
- Review and mentor junior consultants and analysts.
- Collaborate with Partners, Senior Directors, Directors on client engagements, business development, and thought leadership.
- Track emerging regulatory developments, market trends, and rulemaking affecting derivatives markets, digital assets, prediction markets, and other evolving sectors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in financial services consulting, financial institutions, law firms, or regulatory agencies with a focus on derivatives or CFTC-regulated entities.
- Strong knowledge of 17 CFR Part 38 (Designated Contract Markets) and 17 CFR Part 39 (Derivatives Clearing Organizations).
- Experience supporting DCM and/or DCO registration, Core Principle compliance, or ongoing regulatory programs.
- Experience drafting registration exhibits, regulatory documentation, governance frameworks, policies and procedures, and regulatory submissions.
- Experience with CFTC and/or NFA examinations, regulatory inquiries, or compliance programs is preferred.
- Familiarity with emerging markets, including digital assets and prediction markets, is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
- Exceptional writing, editing, and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business and operational solutions.
- Experience leading multiple engagements and delivering high-quality client work products.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with clients and colleagues.

Salary Range:
$150,000-$250,000
Salary will be commensurate with experience, and employee will be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on individual performance and firm performance.
