Lucas Moskowitz Joins Patomak Global Partners

Washington, D.C.—Patomak Global Partners announced today that former U.S. Senate Banking Committee Chief Investigative Counsel Lucas Moskowitz has joined the firm. Mr. Moskowitz joins Patomak as a Director.

As Chief Investigative Counsel, Mr. Moskowitz led investigative reviews and oversight of a wide range of banking, securities, housing, and insurance matters for the Senate Banking Committee under Chairman Richard Shelby (R-AL). Before joining the Senate Banking Committee, Mr. Moskowitz worked extensively on policy initiatives and legislation aimed at strengthening U.S. capital markets and enhancing small business capital formation as a counsel on the House Financial Services Committee under Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-TX).

Prior to joining the House Financial Services Committee, Mr. Moskowitz served as a counsel to former SEC Commissioner Dan Gallagher. Mr. Moskowitz advised Commissioner Gallagher on high-level agency matters, with a particular focus on domestic and international policy issues involving the Division of Enforcement and the Division of Trading and Markets, including rulemakings and agency studies under the Dodd-Frank Act.

Mr. Moskowitz also served as a senior counsel in the Division of Enforcement, where he was responsible for a number of successful financial crisisera securities enforcement actions. Mr. Moskowitz began his government service as a law clerk to Judge Richard M. Berman of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Before and after his clerkship, Mr. Moskowitz was an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Wilmer, Cutler, Pickering, Hale and Dorr, where he represented corporate and individual clients in connection with a variety of securities class actions, internal investigations, Congressional investigations, and civil enforcement actions by the SEC, FINRA, and DOJ.

Mr. Moskowitz received his B.A. from Princeton University and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
