Former SEC Commissioner Dan Gallagher Joins Patomak Global Partners as President
Washington, D.C.—Patomak Global Partners, a leading consulting firm to international and domestic corporations and financial services firms that provides strategic risk management and regulatory compliance services, corporate governance advice, and enforcement and litigation support, announced today that former U.S. Securities and Exchange Commissioner Dan Gallagher has joined the firm as President. Mr. Gallagher, along with CEO and former SEC Commissioner Paul S. Atkins, will be responsible for strategic initiatives, client service, and overseeing firm operations.
Mr. Gallagher served as an SEC Commissioner from 2011 to 2015, following a distinguished career in the public and private sectors. From 2006 to 2010, he was on the SEC staff, ultimately becoming Deputy Director and Co-Acting Director of the Division of Trading and Markets, where he was on the front lines in the agency’s response to the 2008-2009 financial crisis. Mr. Gallagher’s privatesector experience includes serving as a partner at WilmerHale and General Counsel of Fiserv Securities.

Mr. Gallagher’s arrival coincides with a period of significant growth at Patomak.
