Mr. Kapp advises clients on their regulatory compliance and strategic initiatives. Given the strategic nature of regulatory initiatives, his approach addresses market demands and prioritizes operational pragmatism, devising solutions that resonate with senior leadership, investors, regulators, and other key stakeholders.​

Prior to Patomak, Mr. Kapp was the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Capital Management at Fannie Mae, where he spearheaded the establishment of the Capital Management function to prepare to navigate the transition out of government oversight. His leadership was instrumental in developing Fannie Mae’s inaugural capital and resolution plans, supported by the development of robust capabilities to drive regulatory reporting and pricing decisions.​

Prior to Fannie Mae, Mr. Kapp championed a wide range of initiatives for Citigroup (Citi), including shaping capital and resolution plans, enhancing regulatory reporting and compliance, and meeting new capital and long-term debt requirements. Previously, he served as a Managing Director in Citi’s Financial Institutions Investment Banking group, advising on mergers and acquisitions, as well as raising capital for banks and specialty finance companies.​

Mr. Kapp received his MBA at Columbia Business School and his B.S.E in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Princeton University.
