Veronica Jedzejec
Senior Consultant
Ms. Jedzejec advises clients on regulatory compliance strategy, risk management, and governance solutions across derivatives, event contracts, and digital assets. She brings more than 20 years of experience with Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and National Futures Association (NFA) regulatory frameworks, with deep expertise in intermediaries, swap dealers (SDs), derivatives clearing organizations (DCOs), designated contract markets (DCMs), and swap execution facilities (SEFs).
Prior to joining Patomak, Ms. Jedzejec served as Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Regulatory Officer, and BSA/AML Officer at LedgerX (currently Rothera Exchange and Clearing LLC), a CFTC-regulated DCO, DCM, and SEF. In that role, she designed and led a comprehensive compliance risk management program supported by technology-driven controls, encompassing regulatory reporting, trade and market surveillance, and system safeguards.
She previously spent more than 16 years at NFA, where she served as a director overseeing the SD regulatory examination and ongoing monitoring program. Her extensive regulatory background provides clients with a practical, regulator-informed perspective when navigating complex compliance, supervisory, and governance requirements.
Since 2022, she has advised a diverse set of clients on intermediary, DCM, and DCO matters, including CFTC and NFA rule interpretation, enforcement and disciplinary reviews, control enhancements, and preparation of CFTC and NFA registration applications.
Ms. Jedzejec received her MBA from DePaul University and a B.B.A. in finance from the University of Iowa. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner, has completed NFA’s Swap Proficiency Requirements (Long Track), and has passed the FINRA Series 3 examination.
