Veronica Jedzejec

Ms. Jedzejec advises clients on business and regulatory strategy, risk management, and compliance solutions in derivatives and digital assets. Ms. Jedzejec has nearly two decades of extensive regulatory oversight of every National Futures Association (NFA) registration category and led compliance and regulatory functions at a Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) regulated derivatives clearing organization (DCO), designated contract market (DCM), and swaps execution facility (SEF).
Prior to joining Patomak, Ms. Jedzejec was the Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Regulatory Officer, and BSA/AML Officer at LedgerX LLC. She was responsible for exchange and clearinghouse compliance with CFTC regulations, the Commodity Exchange Act, and the Bank Secrecy Act. While there, Ms. Jedzejec built a highly rigorous, technology-enabled, and business-focused compliance risk management program addressing regulatory reporting, trade and market surveillance, and system safeguards for a CFTC regulated DCO, DCM, and SEF. Ms. Jedzejec has extensive experience in process design and efficiency improvement, deploying new and complex technology vendors, and dealing with and responding to various regulator requests.
Ms. Jedzejec was also a director at NFA, where she overhauled the swap dealer regulatory examination and monitoring program. She led a group of staff that were responsible for the 4s provisional registration process of swap dealers and worked intimately with the CFTC on providing over 1,000 comment letters to provisionally registered swap dealers on their written policies and procedures. During her tenure at NFA, she led many strategic projects related to cross-department strategic change management, oversaw the quality review program, and led various committees. Ms. Jedzejec has extensive experience in responding to the CFTC’s rule enforcement reviews across every NFA registration category, taking disciplinary action against NFA members, and dealing with other regulatory agencies such as the Department of Justice and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Ms. Jedzejec received her MBA from DePaul University and her B.B.A. from the University of Iowa. Ms. Jedzejec maintains her certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner, completed NFA’s swap proficiency requirements (Long Track), and has a FINRA Series 3 license. She is a member of Women in Financial Markets (WIFM, formerly WIND) and is a WIFM Wolfpack Facilitator. Ms. Jedzejec has also been a member of CHIEF, which is an invitation only membership network focused on supporting women executive leaders.
