Patomak Global Partners Announces Regina Thoele as Partner
Washington, D.C. — Patomak Global Partners, LLC announced today that Regina Thoele, a renowned leader in the U.S. derivatives industry, has become a partner in Patomak’s derivatives area. Ms. Thoele will help clients navigate a range of commercial, risk management, and regulatory issues, particularly those relevant to derivatives and digital assets business activities. Ms. Thoele has been a Senior Advisor with Patomak since the spring of 2025. Prior to joining Patomak in 2025, she spent approximately 40 years with National Futures Association, including 25 years as head of NFA’s largest regulatory department, managing regulation and licensing of roughly 3,000 members.
Richard C. Breeden, Chairman of Patomak, stated:
“We are thrilled to welcome Regina Thoele as the newest partner of Patomak Global Partners. She is one of the nation’s leading experts in licensing and regulation of derivatives markets participants and of the conduct of intermediaries including in the digital asset markets. Since joining Patomak in a more limited role last year, Ms. Thoele has brought her depth of knowledge and experience to assisting a range of Patomak’s clients in traditional finance, prediction markets, and digital assets markets. Based in the Midwest, we expect that she will be immensely helpful to both existing and new clients across the firm.”
Regina will join the derivatives area as partner alongside Sudhir Jain, under whose leadership Patomak’s capabilities in the derivatives area have expanded markedly. “Regina joining Patomak as a partner is another important step in the evolution of our derivatives area and our ability to serve innovators,” said Jain. “This step makes our team even stronger, broadens our geographic reach, and will enable us to continue adding personnel to the team.”
