Mr. Vivian brings over twenty-five years of banking, regulatory, and financial markets risk experience. He manages a variety of regulatory, risk management, safety and soundness, and strategic planning projects for bank and non-bank financial clients.

Mr. Vivian previously spent over twenty-two years with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) in various leadership positions in bank supervision, policy, and strategic roles. Prior to this role, Mr. Vivian held several leadership positions at the OCC – including Assistant Deputy Comptroller – where he was responsible for assessing safety and soundness of individual and portfolio banks, designing and enforcing formal action and informal remediation, presenting to all portfolio bank Board of Directors, and acting as final signatory on Reports of Examination. Mr. Vivian was also responsible for monitoring all supervisory activities for assigned institutions and prescribed individual strategies, assigning appropriate personnel to monitor conditions, and implementing quality assurance.

Prior to joining Patomak, he served as a Senior Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers regulatory and risk consulting, where he led or supported a variety of engagements for regional and global financial institutions, notably capital markets-related engagements, regulatory remediation and licensing matters, examination and enforcement matters, Heightened Standards/Enhanced Prudential Standards, strategic planning, new product governance and deployment, risk and control self-assessments, fintech matters, and climate risk management.

Mr. Vivian received his B.A. and M.A from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
